A FORMULA SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR BIRDS- Posology
PROBIAVITM is available in a 50 or 100 gram bottle. Each measure (enclosed) holds .8 of a gram. Each teaspoon measure contains over 800 million colony-forming units of living micro-organisms of the avian strain Lactobacillus Acidophilus, and 3 other probiotics.
FOR DAILY DOSAGE IN WATER
Use 4 spoons of Probiavi for 1 litre of cold non-chlorinated water.
- Shake well and the solution is ready for use.
- Change water on a daily basis.
- The solution can be kept refrigerated for around a week
You can use the solution to moisten your breeding pâté or the hand-feeding pâté for parrots. The young will grow faster with less fat and more muscle.
DAILY DOSAGE DEPENDS ON BIRD SIZE
In breeding pâté for canaries, use one spoonful of PROBIAVITM to 100 grams of preparation. Keep your pâté in the refrigerator.
You can also sprinkle PROBIAVITM over fruit or vegetables.
- For small birds like finches and canaries use a ¼ measure a day for each bird.
- For medium size birds (pigeon size) use a ½ measure.
- For large birds ( large-sized parrots ) use 1 measure.
CURATIVE TREATMENT
If your bird is sick, stressed, or about to go on a trip or be entered into a show, you should double the dosage for 5 days. If the sick bird’s condition does not improve, consult your veterinary, because the chances are in this case that there is more than an infection.
When you feed your birds with PROBIAVITM, you can normally see the difference in their droppings within 24 hours.
The measure in the PROBIAVITM container has a .8 gram size.
